Where is the Imagination?
The world today is constantly bombarded with political propagandas, social breakdowns, wars, powers and etc.
Perhaps the world is too flooded with the so-called “Reality” that there is no space left for imgination?
We used the idea of current issues as the main idea behind the work. We collaged pieces of images that represent the reality , imagingtion and memories….
These images, relating to current global issues and portrayal of so-called “ideal life” gives ppl mixed messages.
The idea is to provoke ppl’s emotion, like the real situation as opposed to imagined situation.
Perhaps it’s the dilemma that hits, that makes ppl really think about the importance of imagination, a place that could not be reached, but it’s a place to gather broken memories and a space that provides opportunity to escape the ugly reality.

” the route is more important than any one place on it. “
- Bernard Tschumi
” Peach blossom spring” is a unique journey towards personal utopia; a place between sleep and awake, a place where never-never land would exist all the time.
We are all aboard on the journey, finding our way towards it, as Tschumi described; the route is the most important.
Each person has their own slice toward an experience of finding their Shangri-la, a distinctive view point, sth that makes each of us so special….

Beyond Clutter
Exploring the connection and disconnection between fantasy and reality.
…In creating our own piece of fantasy, we chose the familiar domestic activity of dish washing, as it’s often in these routine or mundane activities that our minds are free to wonder into our separate fantasies. Thru discarding unneed elements from this domestic ritual, we are able to project from what is remaining, a beautiful and luminous fantasy…..
with this installation, we wish to exhibit one possible interpretaion on the connection and disconnection.

UU
Utopia means “nowhere” in Latin. The placement of the letter W determines whether this perfect place is here, or it does not exist, it can arguably be regarded as the transition, or doorway between the ideal world and the world that we are in….
A door, is a connection between inside and outside, a boundary that could be opened, a transition from one place to another the in-between of two spaces, an adjustable functional division of spaces.
….YOU ARE CONFUSED.
