TVCC on fire

The nearly-completed TVCC building, part of the new China Central Television (CCTV) headquarters designed by Rem Koolhaas, was caught on fire 8:25pm last night, during the Chinese Lantern Festival. – It is said to be caused by fireworks.

This may be one of the most unlucky things that would happend to an architect and the team … :sad:
Hope there was no one injuried…

    architects should be happy with these disasters…
    this event probly just saved a lot of jobs at OMA…. :roll:
