那天在微博上说起德国音乐, 我第一个想到的就是Lacrimosa, 然后就是Sopor Aeternus. 但奇怪原来我从来没有在这个blog上写过他们…

他(她)比较著名的作品是2001年的Dead Lovers Sarabande (上图) 可能因为其中的插图都比较重口味的缘故~ 其实本人认为他的东西都做得挺唯美的…

“恶之花”这张专辑不像其他几张那样弥漫着死亡气息, 而是纯粹神经质的自省, 一种沉浸悲伤中的欢愉. 可说是一张非典型的Sopor Aeternus作品 (连封面也好欢乐-,-)

那张恍如黑暗诗篇的”Heroes & Traitors”尤其让人沉迷. 充满威严感的音乐, 既冰冷又苦涩, 但比起Elend等已算容易入耳得多.

The Hallowing 据说是Autumn Tears的最后一张唱片. 

重温他们过往十年来的作品如“Love Poems For Dying Children三部曲” 和 “Eclipse”, 这张新作虽仍未能用上”ethereal” 来形容, 色调之明亮也足以让它和其他几张划清界限. Autumn Tears似乎逐渐偏离了darkwave/gothic的航线, 回归更为学院派的(新)古典风格. 主音Erika的优美音色几没有变, 然而她如今那飘逸如圣诗般唱腔 (正好呼应了标题Hallowing) 与旧作三部曲中那个阴冷的女吸血鬼相比, 简直就是两个人嘛. (后者当年让我一听倾心)

…黑暗过后, 是光明, 也是一个”十年”的落幕.

PS. 唱片公司一早说好全球限量发行1000套, 结果…三周之内订购一空…像我们这种后知后觉的A.T.乐迷 想收藏便唯有期待再版(a.k.a. 平民版)之发行了.

(这张诡异的封面曾经一度让我以为它与Johnny Depp的’查理与巧克力工厂’ 有关…后来才发现是个可笑的误会 )

冰岛人Bardi Johannsson拥有多重身份, 包括Bang Gang 乐队(注意:不是Gang Bang ) , Slowblow乐队和Lady & Bird的主力成员等等. 多年之前他还曾为导演David Lynch的’Eraserhead’一片写过配乐.

这是他第一次以个人名义发行唱片, 并且据说以1922年的同名恐怖片为素材.  Bardi这次出人意外地从过往的妖艳电乐中脱胎换骨, 铸就出一部荡气回肠的北欧史诗. 紧绷的前奏如乌云般缓缓压向大地, 暗无天日的国度随之降临.
