8.14, The Cure 演唱会朝圣归来. [非常抱歉的是原创照片欠奉, 因为本人相机进场前就被工作人员扣下了, 理由是太专业(-____-!) 同行朋友的N95和傻瓜相机则通行无阻 Orz.... 不过, 这样一来我才(被迫)全情投入看表演, 也算是一种自我安慰罢...] 场地是市中心建成不久的Vector Arena, 虽然新, 但地方不大而且舞台音响效果很一般, 和传说中的有出入. 表演开始前一眼望去, 全场几近爆满, 观众多属于三,四字头, 其中的亚洲脸孔只怕两只手数得完. (最让我佩服的是坐轮椅来看演出的, 甚至还有孕妇… 真正”死硬派”fans) 尤其是我坐在山顶区, 附近的人看来都是斯斯文文的样子(后来发觉他们投入的程度与站前排的那些年轻人相比毫不逊色). 这次演唱会事先声明没有暖场乐队, 连续唱三个小时, 而且最后还出现了三次encore….作为听者的我都觉得累, 嗓子都快叫哑了, 更何况是在台上演奏的乐队. 不得不佩服Robert Smith他老人家–体力果然好. 还有他那几十年不变的爆炸发型和惨白面容丶一身密实的深色长袖长裤, 和我之前想像的别无两样, 只是没有想到原来在不唱歌的时候他比路人甲还像路人. 舞台上另一个主角是身穿黑色背心的低音吉他手Simon Gallup, 一对结实的手臂足以让我们年轻人艳羡不已, 而且功架十足, 再次证明了姜是老的辣. 第一个真正的高潮始于”Friday I’m In Love”的前奏响起之时. 后来让大家情绪高涨的段落-不难想像-就是”Boys Don’t Cry”, “Jumping Someone Else’s Train” [ READ MORE ]
(A Night with Cure 前热身之一…) [Audio clip: view full post to listen] 这首The Cure 单曲属于比较罕见丶和”Burn”, “More than This”等让我一听倾心的B-side作品. 可惜的是它不但标明Internet Only, 还不像后者一样能有幸被收录于“Join The Dots”专集内. 这, 才算名副其实的沧海遗珠.
